Gorillas on the Virunga Volcanoes
A small park in northern Rwanda covering part of the Virunga volcano chain, on the border with Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is one of the places in the world where mountain gorillas can be visited, with a permit.

Best Season
June to September, and December to February
The drier months make the trek easier underfoot. Treks run in the wet season as well.
